What is Alpha?

Alpha is a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. Everyone’s welcome. No matter your background or beliefs, you’re invited.

Alpha now runs all across the world. Millions of people have experienced Alpha in over 100 countries and over 100 languages around the globe.

How will Alpha be run at St Mark's?

The Alpha course at St Mark's will start on Monday the 15th at 7.30pm and run for 10 weeks. We plan to run the course in person as well as an online version.

When you arrive at the church there will be tea, coffee and cakes to start off the evening. We will then watch one of the Alpha videos that looks at a theme for the evening. This will then be followed by a time of discussion and questions about the theme. It is expected that the evening will finish between 8.45 and 9pm.
